How about your favorite realistic fiction set in another place or time?

The Narnia books. And some of the Danny Dunn books were set in far-off locations like space or…. I forget where Swamp Monster takes place.
There was also a book about some people who go back in time a few thousand years, and when they return to the present a primitive girl grabs ahold of one of them and so is brought back to the future with them. I wish I could remember the name of it.

Hmm. Don’t know if I have any. I’ve certainly read some, but none I would consider favorites. I’ll have to think about this some more.
