Ways to Participate!
There are all kinds of ways you can participate. For example, you can add your own recommendations of books for young people, rate books, or post comments.
- Suggest books for me to review:
Click on “Recommend Books” to post the title of a book you like or dislike. If you include also include a brief explanation about your reaction to the book, I will be more inclined to read it. - Suggest authors for me to interview:
Click on “Recommend Authors & Questions” to post the name of an author whom you would like to see interviewed here. Please list their names below, along with a list of books of theirs that you have read and a few words about why I should review this author. I can’t promise that your author of choice will respond to my request for an interview, but I will do my best to reach them. - Suggest questions for me to ask of authors:
Click on “Recommend Authors & Questions” to questions you would like me to ask an author. The more original your question, the more likely I am to use it. If I use your question, I will credit you. - Rate a book I reviewed:
Click on the stars underneath my review and the question: “How would you rate this book?” The higher the number of stars, the better you liked the book! - Comment on my reviews:
Click on the “Leave a Comment” tab underneath and to the right of the book title or click on the book title and type in the ”Leave a Reply” box. - Comment on book news:
Click on “Wednesday Questions and News” to find news posts. - Respond to a Wednesday Question:
Click on “Wednesday Questions” to find a list of questions.
To participate, you do not need to leave your name or even an email address. However, you will need to wait for me to approve your post. And, if you want a personal reply, you need to provide your email address. It will not show on the site, but will simply provide me with a way to respond to your post. Of course, if you want credit for your recommendation, you need to leave your name.
