Six-Word Saturday Meme #19

Posted on: June 29, 2013

Course is over; long dreary day

The past few months have been one stress after another. Job loss, miscarriage, death of pet. On the heels of those, I started a summer course. While I loved the challenge and learning of my technology course, it also involved many long hours. So it often felt like just another stress to be endured. But now it’s over too. I can finally take a breath. And relax.

The thing though about that first day after heaps of stress is sometimes you feel all out of sorts. I’m not tired enough to sleep through the day. But I’m also not awake enough to do anything with any focus. So it’s almost like another day to be endured. The light is ahead. But I’m not quite there.

Except at least now my mind and body can finally start to unwind. The resting and healing process can begin. There is a visible light. It’ll be interesting to see what next week will bring and so please check back.

That’s my week. What about yours?

Take it easy! Have a good week.

My husband and I just spent the week on a road trip. The few couple of days we were both stressed out, but then we started enjoying the sights and relaxed. Incredible week!

Best wishes to you. 🙂

Well that a good news Allison. The end of course but doesn’t mean that you won’t be busy, since you like making list, I’m pretty sure you have one somewhere ready for you. Smiles !
You will about my week on the SWS post but hopefully it’s sunday, the day is starting and everything is possible.

Enjoy your day dear !

The only things on my list for today were: read, write, and sleep. 🙂 Sorry from you Six-Word-Saturday post to hear of your reoccurring nightmares. May you have a peaceful rest this week.
