Six-Word Saturday Meme #36

SixWordSaturday

Not feeling well; think I’ll read

My husband sometimes teases me that I sometimes end up writing a lot for a meme that is all about being brief. I summarize my week in six words, but then expand upon that single thought to write and write AND write.

So for this post, let me just say… While the week was actually good, it was overshadowed by my knowing I was getting sick. And now that the weekend is here, I think I’ll stop pushing myself and just curl up in bed with a good book.

See you next week! One which I hope inspires me to write and write and WRITE. 🙂

Thanks for the well wishes! Just when I thought I was getting better, I woke up today with a head cold. 😦 Well, I do have some magazines I’d love to read. 🙂

I hope you feel better…

I hope you are feeling better soon!

Sounds like as good a reason as any to curl up with a book!
Feel better!

Summer Reviews

Books can take connect us with strangers, take us to unique places, and introduce us to new ideas. They can also offer hope in a chaotic world. And so I must share what I read!

Each week, I’ll introduce you to religious books, Advanced Reader Copies, animal books, or diversity books. Some I’ll review as singles and others as part of round-ups. Just ahead, there will be reviews of:

  • Joni: The unforgettable story of a young woman’s struggle against quadriplegia & depression by Joni Eareckson
  • The True Story of the World’s Most Beloved Animal Sanctuary by Samantha Glen
  • Brothers in hope : the story of the Lost Boys of Sudan–refugees by Mary Williams
  • The Inner Life of Cats by Thomas McNamee
