Six-Word Saturday #53

SixWordSaturday

Appointments, socials, tests, reports, and more!

Our dog started yelping last week whenever he would get picked up or jump out of bed. Turns out Barnaby has a little teeny bit of arthritis in his lower back. Medication will help with the pain.

A friend of mine came over for a visit. We talked a lot about life in our forties, doctors and dentists, gifts and crafts…. Who knew we had so much to talk about?

Every free second at school this week I spent on grading tests. One girl didn’t quite earn the points she wanted. We talked about all of her strengths, about trying and never giving up, and about finding a joy just in learning about stuff.

When not grading tests, I worked on progress reports. Those are due the week we return from break. I didn’t want them hanging over my head during the holidays.

The above is just a sample of what my week has been like. What about yours?

That sounds like a very busy week!

This week is already proving to be busy too, but in a different way. I’m organizing letters, notes, files….

That is one busy week! Have a healthy, merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas to you too!

Nearly time to put your feet up!

My husband and I have decided to celebrate the start of the holidays with a movie marathon. I wonder how long we’ll make it before falling asleep? 🙂

Your week was much more meaningful than mine, we moved our office, again. This is the third time in 18 months and I am really very tired of it. I hope you have a great holiday!

Back when I used to work as a designer, we also had many office moves. Not fun! My sympathies are with you. Will you get to relax over the holidays?

Been a pretty busy week for me as well. It is always good to catch up with old friends and realise you have a lot in common still. 🙂

Old friends are the best! I hope your week slows down with the holidays.

I had a good week with good news, and now on Christmas break. Yay!

I hope the good news is related to your health! Whatever it is, I’m glad you can enter the holidays on a note of cheer.
