With our household of critters having expanded to include three cats and a dog, I thought it fitting to join a meme related to pets. After searching around, I came across Awww….. Mondays. The one rule is: “Post a picture that makes you say Awww…. and that’s it.” Every photo seemed to feature a pet and so the meme is a perfect fit!

Cinder races up to me in the kitchen. Then darts off. Then stops and turns her head, as if expecting me to follow.

I sprint after her. She flies behind a living room sofa. I block her at the other end. She retreats out the other side.

Now she races into the library. Then jumps onto the computer desk. Then stops and turns her head, as if once again expecting me to follow.

I barrel up to her. She flies out of the library. I’m on her heels. She springs onto the living room cat tower and bounds to the top.

I climb on to a stool. This allows me to reach the top rung of the cat tower. Slowly I drop my hands towards Cinder.

Like a kid with candy, she grabs my hands with her paws. She happily meows, as she kicks at and wrestles my hands. And so goes play time with Cinder!

It sounds as if Cinder and you have great fun together! I think that our Mickey could be much the same, but Jonesy, his brother,seems to just want to be loved.

All of our cats and I have great fun together! of the three, Bootsie is the one who most wants to be loved.

Cinder is most like our first cat in liking to hand wrestle, but Bootsie is most like our first cat in liking to snuggle. Our first cat’s name was Lucy. 🙂

My husband and I have been blessed with The Cat Trio. They’re all playful and affectionate. The other two will get their own stories later in the month. 😉
